In 2001 American Airlines acquired TWA ! The Israeli route was dropped to avoid severance pay to the local TWA employees.
Twenty years ago none of us had a clue that TWA would cease to exsist in a matter of months and especially within a matter of days for TWA Israel, like sudden thunder on a clear day !
